"I advocate with wisdom and unwavering care. – Caroline"
While I can’t say I grew up dreaming of becoming a lawyer, I always knew I wanted to be there for people when they needed help the most. And when the time came to decide which career I wanted to pursue, my desire to help people was one of the primary reasons why practicing family law felt like the perfect fit for me. I take pride in my level-headed approach to family law and the meaningful connections I build with each of my clients.
As a fearless, compassionate family law attorney, I am a tenacious advocate for clients facing the challenges of separation and divorce both inside and outside the courtroom. I believe in fighting zealously for my clients in court, when necessary, while also recognizing the emotional and financial value of alternatives to litigation just as mediation and arbitration. I am dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation in all family law matters and have a passion for helping my clients navigate the complexities of divorce, child custody, support, and other family-related issues, bringing a wealth of experience and consideration to each case. Whether advocating for clients in negotiations or representing their interests in court, I am committed to guiding them through some of life’s most challenging moments with skill, empathy, and unwavering dedication.
Before joining Sodoma Law Belmont, I took a few years off from the practice of law to be a stay-at-home mother to my two young children. My experience, both as an attorney and a stay-at-home-mom, gives me a unique perspective into not just the personal dynamics of families, but also how separation and divorce can impact everyone involved – not just the two people getting divorced. Plus, nothing prepares you to face some of the toughest attorneys and judges in the state quite like bargaining with a toddler does.
I was born in Charlotte and raised primarily in Greenville, South Carolina, but I consider the Mecklenburg, Gaston, and Lincoln counties area my home due to my extended family’s presence. I attended Clemson University and the University of South Carolina School of Law. During my time in law school, I interned for the Council for Children’s Rights in Charlotte and the Children’s Law Center in Columbia, South Carolina. In my spare time, I enjoy cherishing moments with my family and passionately cheering on the Clemson Tigers and Carolina Panthers.
