Adrienne Dewberry – Special Projects Manager
I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. After spending over a decade in the automotive industry, I decided to switch gears and started to explore shifting into a different career. (Pun intended). At first, I was at a loss of where to look next. I knew I wanted to challenge myself by applying my unique skill set to a new industry but figuring out where to start felt overwhelming. I knew I wanted to help people, and give back to my community, but how? Fortunately, the answer to these questions came in the form of joining the team at Sodoma Law.
The day I first walked through the door at Sodoma Law, I knew I had found my new professional home. As a young child of divorced parents, I witnessed and experienced firsthand the difficult obstacles that a family can face during this life altering period. I have seen domestic violence in the lives of my family, and my friends, and I understand how this affects each member of the family – and our community.
Since the foundation of the practice is Family Law, I felt particularly drawn to my initial role within the firm – Case Coordinator.
In this department of the firm, I am often the first point of contact for our clients who are often times themselves going through the same emotions, feelings, or situations that I experienced growing up. My job is never just to take phone calls and schedule appointments; it is much more important. I am entrusted with the job of pairing each client with the right attorney – the one who would be perfectly suited for what they are going through. Luckily, the attorneys and staff at Sodoma Law are committed to offering the best assistance, advice, and counsel to every single person who walks through the door. At the end of the day, nothing is more rewarding than knowing I have helped someone get a little bit closer to finding their way. Just like Sodoma Law helped me find mine.
Presently, I serve as the Special Projects Manager. This role has allowed me to take what I already loved to do as Case Coordinator and expand those principles and skills to the firm as a whole. My job is to help our team serve our clients and our community in the best way possible – from that first phone call until your case is closed.
