Allison Frazier – Communications Director
Contact Allison Frazier
I am a native North Carolinian hailing from Ayden, just outside of Greenville, where I attended East Carolina University. I began my college career believing I wanted to be a lawyer, but after one too many political science classes I realized that my true passion lay in the field of communications. After finishing both my undergraduate and graduate degree in Communications at ECU I moved to Charlotte, NC in early 2013. Though I didn’t end up going to law school, with a primary focus on political discourse, social inequalities and media effects it was fitting that I began my career at Sodoma Law as the Communications Director in 2015.
Before joining the team at Sodoma Law I worked primarily with small businesses and local non-profits in roles that strengthened my robust background in public relations, event planning and social media marketing. I have always had a passion for giving back to my community, Charlotte has been no exception, so finding a company that embraced the same values of community, kindness, hard-work and honesty has always been important to me. It was all of these qualities and more that drew me to Sodoma Law. Not only do the lawyers boast a fearless record of compassion and tenacity in the courtroom, they carry that thirst for doing more over into their local communities. We like to call it living “The Sodoma Way.”
I am responsible for providing strategic multi-media branding campaigns, event planning, building and sustaining our rapport within our community, and finding new opportunities for both the firm and my attorneys to engage with the thing that matters to us the most here at Sodoma Law – the people. Through branding, community interaction and charitable events I look forward to helping Sodoma Law continue to grow and expand in both the Charlotte and Monroe communities and beyond while building a foundation of commitment to our clients and our society. After all, it is #TheSodomaWay! It is my job to showcase the compassion and values that we hold dear at Sodoma Law and to ensure that they are reflected back to the community in our online presence and at the events we host.
Outside of Sodoma Law you can find me volunteering on the Board of Directors with local domestic violence non-profit Beards BeCAUSE where I help with social media management and event planning. You might also catch me enjoying one of my favorite hobbies, working on my handmade jewelry line Stix+Stones, or out around town at various charity events, enjoying live local music, shopping at the farmers market or appreciating a delicious craft beer.
If you want to learn more about our ventures, areas of practice, partnerships or what it means to live #TheSodomaWay feel free to contact me anytime. I look forward to hearing from you.
The Sodoma Way
When I opened the doors to Sodoma Law in 2008, it was with the intention of building a different kind of firm. When I started to put together the team, I focused on creating a culture unlike any other I had encountered: a “firm family” that showed commitment to our clients, to our team and to our community. Over time, this concept has become known as “The Sodoma Way.”
