I have known since the 4th grade I wanted to be an attorney. However, it was not until I started law school and participated in an internship where I aided low-income parents facing allegations of abuse or neglect in regaining custody of their children that I became sure I wanted to practice Family Law. After completing the internship, I knew without a doubt that I wanted to focus my law career on continuing to help families navigate tough situations, and that is exactly what I have done since obtaining my license to practice.
As an attorney and advocate, my main priority is to provide effective representation to my clients while maintaining a direct line of communication – especially when their case requires immediate attention. I know there is no one-size-fits-all approach to family law, and I recognize the importance of developing a case strategy early in my representation to accommodate each client’s unique needs.
Outside of the office and courtroom, I enjoy cooking new meals from scratch and attending sporting events. I am a long-time fan of the Carolina Panthers and North Carolina Tar Heels. What I enjoy the most is the quality time I get to spend with my wife and son, usually consisting of going on long walks with our dog, Aladdin.
