“Progress is impossible without change.

Often, when clients come to see me, it is because something in their life is changing or about to change. My primary goal as a family law attorney is to offer guidance and support to individuals and families, helping them navigate through any changes that may take place in their lives. I aim to empower my clients to make informed decisions that will positively impact their lives and the lives of their loved ones.

I received my bachelor’s in business management and marketing from Appalachian State University, and my Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law. Throughout my time both in undergraduate and law school, I learned I am at my best when I am helping people through difficult situations.

From helping clients with family law matters and estate planning cases through the legal clinic at my law school, establishing an initiative through the Clinton Global Foundation to support homeless women’s hygiene initiatives, or assisting prosecutors around the country with stalking, sexual assault, human trafficking, and domestic violence cases during my time interning with AEquitas in Washington, DC, I learned every person deserves to be heard and to have someone in their corner fighting for them.

Whether they are facing divorce, child custody, adoption, or any other family law matter, I understand these transitions can be overwhelming and challenging. I provide my clients with a compassionate and understanding approach, ensuring that their voices are heard, and their interests are protected. I work closely with each client to understand their unique circumstances and goals, offering personalized advice and legal strategies tailored to their specific needs.

I am an empathetic, passionate, and dedicated family law attorney who provides my clients with the utmost respect and relentless commitment to their cause. While I may not be able to step into and walk a mile in my client’s shoes, I can give them my full attention as I listen, assist, and help direct their case in a way that best suits them and their circumstances. Whether my clients opt for litigation, mediation, or arbitration, I am committed to meeting each of them where they are. My goal is to ease the stress and uncertainty associated with these life changes and guide my clients towards a brighter and more stable future.

When I am not advocating for my clients, I enjoy working out at Burn Boot Camp, spending time on the lake with my husband and friends, playing violin, or showering my cat, Lilly, with love.
