Jodi Weddington – Firm Administrator

I have worked as a firm administrator and/or accountant for law firms or corporations in Florida for most of my professional career. Family responsibilities brought me to the Charlotte area, giving up my “Native Floridian” status. Many know that a move to a new area can be rather overwhelming, but I immediately felt a sense of comfort, as the attorneys and staff at Sodoma Law welcomed me with open arms.
Although, family law was not an area of practice of my previous law firm employers, I personally experienced the devastation of a divorce. No one comes out of a divorce unscathed, but the most important thing, if children are involved, is to protect them at all costs. As part of the management team at Sodoma Law, I have seen firsthand how the attorneys and staff approach each case. They are passionate, not only about the law, but are also passionate about putting the needs of the client, and their children, first. They do, what the attorneys that I hired didn’t do, they listen and advise each client on what is in the client’s best interest.
One of my responsibilities, as firm administrator for Sodoma Law, is to help in the selection of the right team members. All of our employees directly contribute to the success of the firm, and exemplify, on a daily basis, the firm’s core values. Not only are they prepared and tenacious advocates, but they are dedicated to honesty and integrity, and are committed to our clients, service and the community.
Along with family law, our attorneys excel in other areas of the law. We provide estate planning and administration, trusts, business law as well as help explore bankruptcy options through our creditor/debtor work. Our attorneys differentiate themselves as they are creative, fearless problem solvers, thinking “outside the box,” when developing innovative strategies for representing our clients.
I am thankful to have found the best of the best in my move to the area, and for being part of something great, as a member of the Sodoma Law team. The knowledge and skills that our staff bring to the firm will ensure that we continue to meet the needs of our clients for many many years to come.
The Sodoma Way
When I opened the doors to Sodoma Law in 2008, it was with the intention of building a different kind of firm. When I started to put together the team, I focused on creating a culture unlike any other I had encountered: a “firm family” that showed commitment to our clients, to our team and to our community. Over time, this concept has become known as “The Sodoma Way.”
