Escaping Domestic Violence, Sodoma Law Takes a Stand
Every minute, 20 people are physically abused by a domestic partner in the United States. In response, we pooled our resources and the knowledge of each Family Law attorney at Sodoma Law and created this downloadable e-book “Escaping Domestic Violence: What You Need To Know“. This “What to Know” style e-book provides legal insight and guidance anyone who may be in, or know someone currently in an abusive relationship.
“For many years, domestic violence was not talked about,” said Nicole Sodoma, Founder and Managing Principle of Sodoma Law. “Today, while the conversation around domestic violence has become more public, awareness must continue to be raised. Our firm wants to equip people with the necessary information to find safety and adequately prepare a strong Domestic Violence Protective Order.”
The book highlights the importance of contacting authorities, developing a safety plan, and preserving evidence such as photos, text messages, and phone logs. Readers are also reminded that no matter the situation, physical or emotional abuse should not be tolerated.

I met Nicole two years ago as I was going through my separation and eventual divorce. I do not think I would have survived the roller coaster ride of this process without Nicole and her rock star team by my side.
The Sodoma Way
When I opened the doors to Sodoma Law in 2008, it was with the intention of building a different kind of firm. When I started to put together the team, I focused on creating a culture unlike any other I had encountered: a “firm family” that showed commitment to our clients, to our team and to our community. Over time, this concept has become known as “The Sodoma Way.”
