I did not always know that I wanted to be a lawyer, but I did always know that I wanted to help people. When my legal journey brought me to Sodoma Law, I knew I’d found a firm that wanted to help people as much as I did. In fact, it’s one of our core values: “Commitment to client, community, and each other.”

Practicing exclusively in divorce and family law, I understand the difficulties and emotional struggles my clients face. My team and I work diligently for our clients to ensure their legal rights are protected and strive to achieve the best possible outcome for each case.

While each client’s case is unique, I know the alternatives to going to court can often be a better solution – especially when children are involved. It is my goal to present each of the various legal options available to my clients – such as mediation and the collaborative law process – and to pursue the option that is the best fit for them and their circumstances. I was trained in the collaborative law process by an internationally recognized pioneer of the practice of collaborative divorce, and such training taught me the value of reducing conflict and tailoring a resolution that will work for each individual family.

However, I clearly recognize that there are cases where litigation is necessary, and compromise is not an option. I am fortunate to also be trained in family law litigation with the right experience and attention to detail that makes me a tenacious and strong courtroom advocate.

When not in the office or courtroom working with other families, I enjoy spending time with my own family and volunteering in our community. I am actively involved with both Safe Alliance and the Council for Children’s Rights as a pro bono legal advocate. As a sports fanatic, I enjoy cheering on her Carolina Panthers and religiously watching college basketball. If I have the time to escape the chaos brought to me by my two energetic little boys, you can find me riding Peloton with my girl, the one and only Robin Arzon.
