Kaylan M. Gaudio – Dedicated Family Law Advocate and Parenting Coordinator
At a young age, I discovered my passion for helping people, a calling that eventually led me to a fulfilling career in law. Joining Sodoma Law was a natural fit, as the firm’s dedication to “Commitment to client, community, and each other” mirrors my own values and aspirations.
Practicing primarily in divorce and family law, I understand the profound emotional challenges my clients endure. Together with my dedicated team, I strive to protect our client’s legal rights and achieve the best possible outcomes tailored to each unique case.
Recognizing that courtroom battles can be particularly distressing, especially when children are involved, I am committed to exploring all legal avenues, including mediation and the collaborative law process. My training under an internationally recognized pioneer in collaborative divorce has equipped me with the skills to reduce conflict and craft personalized resolutions for families.
However, I also recognize that some situations demand a more assertive approach. With comprehensive training and extensive experience in family law litigation, I am a formidable advocate in the courtroom, unyielding in my pursuit to champion my client’s position and ensure the best interest of children, when compromise is not an option.
In my role as a Parenting Coordinator, I provide a structured and supportive environment for parents navigating high-conflict custody disputes, facilitating communication and fostering cooperation to ensure the best interests of the children are met.
By blending compassion, expertise, and a commitment to client-centered advocacy, I aim to guide families through some of their most challenging times with professionalism and care.
Outside of the office, I cherish time with my own family and am passionate about giving back to the community. I actively volunteer with Safe Alliance, providing pro bono legal services through their Legal Representation Program, and with the Council for Children’s Rights, serving as a Volunteer Attorney through the Custody Advocacy Program. As a sports enthusiast, I love cheering on the Carolina Panthers and following college basketball. When I manage to carve out some personal time amidst the bustle of family life with my two energetic boys, you can find me enjoying a Peloton ride with my favorite instructor, Robin Arzon.
